For those of you that are sick and tired of BlogHer already, my apologies. For those of you that wish you were going, only a few more weeks until you can get tickets for next year! And for those of you that are still deciding what shoes you will bring, this post is for you!
Because we all know that shoes are important.
But really, it’s a bait and switch because this post isn’t about shoes. It IS however, about giving your feet and your mind a little break during the craziness of BlogHer. I’m talking about the 1st official Serenity Suite! This wonderful idea is the brain child of amazing Bloggers Heather of the EO and Maggie, Dammit. They wanted to provide a space for people to relax and regroup away from the parties and the drinking and the craziness that can come tumbling out of each and every doorway at a huge conference like this. And I am hosting!
Since I am pregnant, you definitely won’t see me drinking. And being that I am still in the first trimester, I predict a lot of time in the bathroom and many little breathers here and there. That’s why I am SO thankful for the Serenity Suite. And when I heard they needed more hosts, I was thrilled to help out! I will be there Friday from 2-2:30pm and possibly on Saturday (TBD). Here is a bit more about the Serenity Suite in Maggie’s words,
Open throughout the conference, this BlogHer-sponsored space will allow anyone who needs it to take a moment or two in the peace and quiet to rejuvenate. This will be a no-frills safe place to simply sit and connect with fellow bloggers in a low-key environment, and then return to the parties or sessions refreshed and ready to join in on all that BlogHer has to offer.
Stop by whenever you please for complimentary coffee, tea or water, and to simply relax. The BlogHer Serenity Suite will be open on Friday from 10am-10pm (closed for lunch hour) and on Saturday from 10am-10pm (closed for the lunch hour)
I hope you can stop by Room 4307 at the Hilton and catch your breath at some point during the conference. See you in 10 days! And if you’re still thinking about shoes, feel free to check out my comfort option for the conference, with bling!
