It is Friday right? My days and weeks are starting to run together so I am not 100% sure. But let’s just go with it.
I had a series all planned for the holidays called Tis the Season to be Crafting. Typically, I tend to get my crafting mojo when the weather turns cold and because I love Christmas more than any other holiday. However, this year had other plans for me so I am left admiring everyone else’s amazing projects. Here are just a few of the things I love this year and would love to make one day.
Paper Trees from Jurianne Matter
I love these little muffin/cupcake toppers! They are so simple and cute and make a huge impact on an otherwise ordinary muffin. Keep!
The Christmas Jar via MomSpark
This is such a fantastic idea for kids cooped up in the cold winter months! The jar is stuffed with 25 different activities to do each day leading up to Christmas! It’s a great way to count down and also to make it through those long, cold days indoors!
Solo Cup Trees via ohdeedoh!
Oh these trees! Whether you have kids or not, this is an amazingly easy craft that can be as dressed up or down as you like!
Handmade Advent Calendars from The UnTrained Housewife!
I have always wanted an Advent calendar. Next year, Oscar will be 3 and I really want to get our traditions in order! I have been slack knowing that he really doesn’t “get it” but this will be perfect for 2011! I love the little pockets and clothesline look of this one!
DIY Striped Paper Ornament via How About Orange!
Ahhh I how love this blog. And hey, not everyone wants to be all red and green at the holidays! Follow the fun tutorial to make this ornament in any color you like!
