This year we were suddenly a flu-fighting family. My husband got the flu, then I got it and a couple of weeks later he got it again. At the beginning of the very first flu we RAN the boys to get their flu shots (along with a host of other measures) and prayed it would be enough. Thankfully, they didn’t get sick.
The funny thing is, we all could have had flu shots, like we do every year, but we missed the free clinic at Jerry’s office and just never got around to is. Believe me, this is one of those “I wish I had a time machine moments”. You can bet we will be ready for flu season next time!
