Parenting blog stats. How do you measure up?

I recently had the honor of participating in a study about Parenting blog statistics. What that means is that I gave access to my Google Analytics to Annie at PhD in Parenting for about a month so she could get a good idea of what goes on behind the scenes here at Lil-Kid-Things. In the blogosphere, this is basically the equivalent of changing in front of someone. In other words, you can’t hide the truth!

I was in good company, however. Annie peeked into the stats of 20 different bloggers of all shapes and sizes and I have to say, her findings were very interesting! With the Type-A-Conference around the corner, this report couldn’t have come at a better time. Annie has allowed me to share her slideshow here, but be sure to check out her post (above) for the full report (and more great conversation in the comments)!

Wondering where Lil-Kid-Things fits into these numbers? Well, let’s just say that I have some work to do! In the blogging industry where basically nothing is standardized, I find it very helpful to have a clear picture of some definable goals. That said, I am so thankful to be here, no matter what my numbers are.

Are you a Parenting blogger? What do you think of Annie’s findings?
