What’s up y’all?

Can you believe September is almost over? I’m not even kidding when I say this month has flown by. It’s a busy season for me, yes. But still I feel a bit disconnected and I am trying to hang on to the beauty in this season along with the cray, you know??

Today, I took the boys to the library and we read books and ate cookies and went to story time. We walked around and had Chick-Fil-A for lunch. WITH ice cream. It was just nice and normal and at our own pace. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it.

So tell me what you have going on. Did something amazing happen to you this week? Are you planning a vacation? Or maybe you read a really great book. OH or maybe you finally finished that season of whatever that was about to expire on your DVR. What are your weekend plans?

I want to know!

It’s Friday. Let’s celebrate :-)

My niece, 2, always finds a way to make me smile. Until recently I had no idea that “Sarah” was such a difficult word to say but she has struggled to say it, meaning that she can say EVERYONE’S name but mine. She finally said (pretty much) my name last weekend and my smile was so big I am surprised it fit on my face. It’s the little things.

Oh that is a good one! One of my nephews used to call me “An-wah”..it sounded French and was so funny! The day he learned to say Andrea was bittersweet because he was just so darn cute :-)

I took my baby girl to the doctor yesterday for her two-week checkup. As a breast feeding mom, I always stress about my babies regaining their birthweight by this point. Well, she gained a whole pound since leaving the hospital. Woohoo! :-) This is definitely a first for me, and I’m so thankful that nursing is going well with baby #3.

That is fantastic news! I hated that race for weight gain in the early weeks. Sounds like you are both doing awesome (which is no surprise to ME)
