Blogging Local: Raleigh Bloggers

Love it? Share it!

Ya’ll, there’s a whole lot of awesome at this table.

Have I mentioned that I love the internet? Let’s break it down. Once in a while you stumble on a blog you like and you start to make comments and it’s fun and then one day you realize, wait a second! They live really close by! SaahhhWEET! And so it goes, one blog leads to another and another and before long you are attending local events and your mind explodes because there are MANY awesome bloggers that you had no idea were right here on your front porch. Yay!

This is me getting excited because I was finally able to make it to a mom’s night out with some of these ladies. And they are fabulous! I mean it’s always fun to meet new people, but something about having a common interest just catapults the conversations into overdrive. As I think about what it means to be a blogger, and especially a “mom blogger”, I realize that having a local blogging community is insanely important. And I am really loving our community! Last night was full of shopping and good food. What could be better?

So for follow Friday I am gonna holla at some killer Raleigh/Durham bloggers! Please check them out!

Ilina blogs over at Dirt & Noise about her life raising her two boys. Be sure to check out 5’oclock Fridays for delicious cocktail recipes!

Heather blogs at Follow Linus and is HiLARIOUS. She also has some great insight on local shopping. For real.

Sue and Fadra are starting a joint endeavor called Lives Less Ordinary to empower women to be who they are with confidence! Sue has her own blog called  Motherhood and Me, and Fadra can bee seen musing at All Things Fadra.

Suzanne of Pretty Swell has always got something fun going on at her blog. Her site is just plain eye candy! Whether it be her adorable daughter or one of the many Etsy finds she shares with us there is always something pretty…AND swell 🙂

The Heir to Blair is a wonderful blog run by a local mom who has been through a lot! She writes about her trials and triumphs with grace and humor and is consistently a great read!

Melissa writes the blog Adventuroo and it’s just as it sounds, all about her adventures! She and her family LOVE exploring outdoors, so check out her blog for local tips and ideas for places to get out and play.

Kelly is mom to the adorable Monkey Man and writes all about him on her blog. She is also pregnant with her second and due this fall!

Malise is Carolina Mama and blogs all about her children, homeschool adventures, product reviews and all things Carolina.

A former teacher, Abby writes My Sweet Baboo and is a Durham mama who loves eating local and creating amazing teaching moments for her son Linus. She is such an inspiration!

And Jessica from The B Keeps Us Honest is always keeping us up to date on all the latest and greatest kid’s necessities as well as  hosting some amazing giveaways.

WHEW! You see what I mean??? Awesome. And that isn’t even everyone! Seriously, if you are a blogger ya gotta get with your locals. I am stoked about these new friendships and I feel like these ladies are already making me a better blogger. So there you have it.

Happy Friday!
