So Oscar is transitioning to one nap (again). He did this a few months ago and then after a trip and getting sick, he went back to 2 naps. For like weeks. I had really started to enjoy one nap so this naturally felt like an eternity. But, I did get some free time and that meant more blogging! However, now that we’re back to one nap, that means less time. I’m still blogging, but it probably won’t be on much of a regular schedule. Unless it is. You see what I just did? That’s me going with the flow.
We did that a lot today in fact. Go with the flow. Our day started off swimming with friends and then at a local quilt shop to scope out some cute fabric. Warm weather makes me get crafty. Just like cold weather makes me want to knit. Ugh, I can’t even think of trying to knit something right now! But anyway, the point. The point is, I got some fabric and decided to whip up some pajama shorts for Oscar using this guide for toddler pants on Rookie Mom.
It was simple enough and I think I did an awesome job! Only, they are too tight and then I kinda ruined them by trying to fix the elastic. Well, I didn’t ruin them for Oscar, just probably any other kid that wanted to wear them and doesn’t have the pot belly of a middle aged insurance adjuster. So here they are in all their woodland glory! Check out Rookie Mom’s tutorial though, and don’t forget to measure!
