I went to Old Navy a few days ago because I heard they were having a good sale. I remember loving their Maternity section when I was pregnant with Oscar so I thought I would check out the clearance selection and see if there was anything I could use this fall. And also because I needed a little pick-me-up. Few things rival that feeling I get after getting a really good bargain!
SO, I found a cute little plaid top that I really like. It’s not maternity, but I shouldn’t need Maternity shirts for a good while. I was in stretchy waists by 10 weeks with Oscar so you will likely see that trend happening again here. This shirt I think, will take me well through the summer months. And I just love the colors! I also grabbed a white ribbed maternity tank. I went with maternity on that one because they are nice and long. Seriously, I am sure I will be wearing it well before I am “showing” and long after the birth! I love long tanks! And it was five bucks. Who can argue with that?
Finally, I snagged some super cute maternity jeans! I really wasn’t looking for these but I LOVE the waistband and the pockets! No crazy panels and there are belt loops so even If I need a little more room than my current zippers and buttons will allow, I can still wear them before they are maxed out. Also? They were $10.00!
The final straw though was that I found a little tear near the seam on the plaid shirt. I was bummed but knew there were more so I just let the attendant know so she wouldn’t put it back out. She said, well if you want it anyway, they will take 70% off! Seriously. For a tear! ON the seam! I can so fix that! Total cost of that shirt? $1.82!
SO my new outfit was all of $18.00! Major SCORE! I definitely left Old Navy with a skip in my step 🙂
