One week from today I start the new job. I have been communicating via email with my new boss and he seems like an easy-going guy so that helps. I have a 4 day weekend coming up and I am really looking forward to using that time to relax, reflect and reorganize my closet! Actually, there shouldn’t be a ‘re’ on there because I still haven’t actually organized it since I moved into the house, but the other words started with r so there you go.
I am seriously enjoying the veggies I have added (or increased) to my diet. Lucky for me, I like a wide variety so I am easy to please. Just give me a lil salt and pepper…tomorrow I’m hittin the sauce…soy of course. I got the Asian medley! I have also been increasing the exercise and it’s amazing, but in less than a week I am already seeing a difference on the scale. A little bit really goes a long way.
In the way of exercise, I jogged yesterday. I am still in the “trying it out” phase, but who knows, I might try to get in a little 5k here and there. I think having something to work toward always makes me work harder, so we’ll see.
In other news, Britney Spears has checked herself out of rehab for the 2nd time in a week. It’s sad and I can’t stop reading about it. What a train wreck.
Furthermore, in the land of entertainment, Brothers and Sisters is officially my new favorite show. I love all things Sally Fields and she is excellent playing Mrs. Walker. And among others, Calista Flockhart and Rob Lowe are great. It’s a good Sunday night wind down show. And that’s all I have to say about it right now.
It is unseasonably warm this week and even though I should be fretting about global warming, I am just really loving the 66 degree afternoons. Sorry. I will continue to recycle though and I want to read this book. Anyone know anything about it? I found an old notebook and I had written myself a note that I wanted to read it. Of course I never did, so now I can’t remember why! I figure it will still interest me, so here’s hoping.
I think that’s about it for this afternoon. Have a great day!
