I literally squealed with delight when the invitation for this year’s Disney Social Media Moms Celebration appeared in my inbox. It’s an honor to be invited and while I hoped to go again this year, I also knew that last year’s experience could have been a once in a lifetime trip. And I would have been completely ok with that!
Now that we are just 3 weeks away from our big Florida vacation, I am getting even more excited. Yes, there is planning. Yes, there has been a little bit of dieting. And yes, I have been shopping once or twice.
I have some fashion ideas for the conference part of our trip, including this outfit that I mentioned last week. I decided to do a round up of similar looks and then after the conference, I will post my own pics!
Conference Fashion: Disney Social Media Moms
I also have to toot my own horn for a minute here and talk about the dieting. I haven’t talked about it much because I get shy when it comes to my body image. But the fact is I joined Weight Watchers back in December and I have lost 15lbs! I am down a couple sizes and back to my wedding weight and it feels really good!
Shape it up
That said, I am still a bit soft so I agreed to review the Cami Shaper by Genie. It’s soft and comfortable and gives just enough support without being restricting. You can bet I will have it with me at the conference!
I love to shop for cute clothes, but if they don’t fit well I might as well not even bother. I wouldn’t skip a bra with this cami, but otherwise I think it’s pretty great. Shapewear doesn’t have to equal a girdle anymore and I couldn’t be happier.
I hope you will follow along with me as I attend this exceptional conference for a second time. I plan to share fun photos, sound bites from the amazing speaker line ups and maybe even a fashion pic or two. I can’t wait! Follow me on Twitter as well as the hashtag #DisneySMMoms to join in the fun!
What do you think of my choices? Do you have a favorite look?
Disclosure: I was sent the Cami shaper to review. All other mentions were paid for by me. All opinions are my own.
