We’ve had a great weekend with family. We celebrated Oscar’s 3rd birthday and now Jerry’s mom is here visiting with us for a few days. I love it when she comes because not only do we get along really well, it gives me the chance to run some errands by myself! Isn’t it funny how going to Target all alone is so heavenly after one has kids? True story.

So I was walking the aisles of Target on Saturday night looking for clearance items when I decided to throw caution to the wind and shop full price. And whaddya know? I found this awesome dress! It has all the things I look for in a dress right now, slighly structured chambray fabric, buttons for easy access to nursing, and sleeves that cover my arm flaps.

What? Like you don’t have arm flaps.

My new favorite dress

I wore it with leggings and leopard print flats yesterday and it was so comfortable! I have a feeling I will be living in this dress.

How would you style it?

That dress is so cute! And I totally know what you mean that something as simple as going to the store alone is heavenly. I am not a very fashionably person but I would also wear that dress with flats. Not sure if I would do leggings or just bare legged.

Alone time is a necessity for sanity. Glad you got some. 🙂 I’d wear it with colored tights, boots, a cuff bracelet & simple earrings. It’s super cute!

Must. Go. Buy. Dress. I’d wear it to Blissdom with leggings and cowboy boots! And a long sweater/robe (sw’obe) because I always get cold. And giant disco gold hoops. And a scrunchie. Because I have children, y’all.

I’ma gone skip the cowgirl feel and pretty it up! I’d be wearing that sucker with green baubles (or belt) and ballet flats. Get some leopard going on (handbag or shoes) and you’ve got an outfit! OOH… or you could pretend you’re heading for the sea and snag yourself some red sandals (or orange, or yellow), white and gold baubles and a striped clutch. OR you could go garden-y girl with pretty mint and lavender pastels (cuz you know pastels are totally hot this spring). Add something graphic to boost the daintiness. Then pick me up for a pedi.

I would put this dress with bright accessories (bangles/bracelets stacked, earrings and/or wide belt) – Bold Red, Yellow or Orange and flats to match. Red would be great and you can put red accessories with so many other things as well.

Change out the belt to give it some umph and excitement. Add pretty earrings and a few bangles and you’re set.

[…] saw this fun graphic pattern in a chiffon cardigan and almost snapped it up. However, since I just bought a dress last week, I decided to snap a picture […]
