I almost didn’t do this week’s assignment because I just wasn’t sure what to photograph. My new camera? My phone? My laptop? All used every. single. day. and they all fit the project, I just wasn’t convinced. but then I glanced over at our TV.
We’ve been flat screen holdouts for years because our giant TV worked just fine thank you very much and we didn’t have cable. Well, when we moved to the new house around Thanksgiving last year, we decided to take advantage of Black Friday and score a new TV. Sadly, it was stolen only 2 months later. We finally replaced it, but we still don’t plan on getting cable.
And I realized, this is the perfect definition of technology in our house. Still a little old school and totally ok with that.
Capture the Everyday is about getting you to capture those everyday moments in your life! Each Thursday, I’ll issue a simple challenge to capture something that’s a part of your daily life. You can post just a picture or add some words to go along with it. You’ll have a week to get it done and then I’ll issue another. It’s a quick, easy way to start capturing those little parts of life we sometimes take for granted.
