Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.

To serve, spoon the mixture onto the bottom bun and top with a piece of cheese.
Add some shredded iceberg lettuce and sliced dill pickles, then place the bun on top.
Store leftovers separately. Place cooked meat in an airtight container and refrigerate.
