14ouncespizza sauce
3ouncespepperoniabout 50 pieces of pepperoni
2cupsshredded cheesemozzarella, colby jack, or italian blend
½cupminiature pepperoni
Instructions
First, preheat oven to 350°F and spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
Layer two wonton wraps in each of the muffin cups, alternating where the corners end up to form your cups.
Bake the empty cups in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the corners of the wontons begin to turn golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside to cool enough to remove from pan.
Carefully transfer the crisp wontons to a baking pan to be filled.
Slice the larger pepperonis in half and mix with pizza sauce in a medium bowl.
Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the pepperoni mixture into each crispy wonton cup. and top with a generous pinch of shredded cheese.
Finally, add 3-4 miniature pepperonis on top of each wonton cup.
Return the cups to the oven for another 10 minutes, or until all of the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For best results, reheat in oven or air fryer.
