Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats
Made with strawberry gelatin, crispy rice cereal, butter and marshmallows, and topped with mini chocolate chips, this easy recipe is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
1/2
cup
butter
12
ounce
package mini marshmallows
reserve about 1 cup to mix in (optional)

ounce
package strawberry gelatin

cups
puffed rice cereal
½
cup
mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large stockpot.
Add the marshmallows (minus 1 cup) and stir until melted.
Remove the pan from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin.
When the gelatin has dissolved, add the cereal and stir to mix.
Allow the mixture to cool for around 10 minutes, then stir in the additional 1 cup of mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips.
Press the mixture into an 8x8 pan lined with parchment paper and allow to cool at room temperature for at least one hour.
Cut the treats into bars and serve.
Notes
Cover leftovers and store at room temperature for 3-5 days.
