This fresh mango salsa is bursting with fresh ingredients that are sweet and spicy and make the perfect topping for fish tacos or as a chunky dip for chips.
3jalapenosseeded and diced (keep seeds intact if you want it spicy)
½cupcilantrochopped, about 1 bunch
1limejuiced
Salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mango, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapenos, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper and stir together with a spoon.
(Optional) Place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour for the flavors to blend and intensify.
Serve with a side of tortilla chips or over some fish tacos. Enjoy!
Notes
Adjust spice level with the peppers you use. Use jalapenos for a touch of spice or serrano peppers for more. For less heat, use green bell peppers instead or omit peppers altogether.
