Leprechaun Hat St. Patrick's Day Treats for Kids
Make these super easy and festive St. Patrick's Day treats for kids with just a few ingredients and a top hat cookie cutter.

Ingredients

tbsp
butter
6
cups
cereal
I used Rice Chex
6
cups
mini marshmallows
1
tsp
vanilla
2
pkg green candy melts
1/4
cup
black candy melts
1
yellow candy melt
chopped into squares
2
tbsp
shortening as needed
Instructions
Melt butter and marshmallows together in the microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring often.
Stir in vanilla
Mix cereal in one cup at a time
Press flat onto wax paper in cookie sheet (or spray with non-stick spray)
Melt green candy in the microwave 30 seconds at a time (stirring). Add shortening if needed to soften
Pour melted candy over cereal mixture and let cool to harden
Melt black candy and pour into sandwich bag
Cut off corner of bag and pipe onto hats to create the band (use a tool or butter knife to spread if needed)
Add yellow candy buckle to band
