2packages ghirardelli white melting wafers10 oz each
Black sugar pearl sprinkles
Orange tic tacs
2ozpack sour punch strawscut in half
3.14ozbag milk chocolate M&Ms
Sprinklesoptional
Instructions
Prepare two baking sheets by adding a layer of parchment paper to each and set aside.
Using a double boiler, melt the white melting wafers on low heat until smooth. The Ghirardelli wafers really melt well so if you can find them, I do think they will be better than other white chocolates.
Take one Oreo and fully submerge it into the melted wafers and make sure it is evenly coated.
Then, lift it out with a fork and lightly tap it on the edge of the pot a few times to remove the excess chocolate.
Place the cookie on the lined baking sheet and repeat with a couple more Oreos. You'll want to work in batches so you can place the sprinkles before the chocolate hardens completely. I recommend dipping 2-3 cookies, then add the sprinkles and repeat.
To decorate the snowmen faces, add two sugar pearls for the eyes and an orange tic tac in the center for the nose.
Add two sugar pearls for the eyes, then place an orange tic tac in the center for the nose.
Give each snowman a smile by placing 4-5 sugar pearls under the tic tac.
Then, to create the earmuffs, take a 2-inch piece of sour punch straw and add it to the top of the cookie for the strap. You may need to hold it in place for 10 seconds so the melts can firm up a bit.
Then attach one M&M on each side of the strap for the ears.
Repeat the steps with the rest of the cookies and transfer the baking sheets into the refrigerator for 10 minutes or until fully set.
If you have additional sprinkles, make some extra chocolate dipped Oreos and add the colorful sprinkles on top.
Place in the fridge until set and ready to serve.
Notes
Refrigerate leftover cookies in an airtight container.
