This donut hole Christmas tree is as cute and easy as they come! Make an impression this holiday season with this easy to make 4-ingredient centerpiece.
Place the styrofoam cone onto a large sheet of plastic wrap and firmly wrap it around the cone until it is completely covered.
Then, stand the cone on a level surface or serving tray. Use tape on the bottom of the cone for added security.
Beginning at the bottom end of the cone, insert a toothpick halfway into the styrofoam and press a donut hole onto the end of the toothpick.
Repeat this process around the bottom perimeter of the cone, then work your way upward until you have finished adding donut holes to the tree.
To decorate with pomegranate arils, insert a toothpick 3⁄4 of the way into the cone where there is a gap. Then, gently add the pomegranate seed to the toothpick.
Repeat with 12-15 pomegranate arils around the tree. If you can't find pomegranate, fresh cranberries would also work.
Separate the rosemary into small sprigs and tuck them into sparse areas around the tree.
Finally, dust the tree with powdered sugar using a sifter and enjoy your beautiful Christmas donut tree!
Notes
Serve right away for best results. Leftover donuts can be removed from the tree and stored in an airtight container.
