How to Make a Donut Hole Christmas Tree

Place the styrofoam cone onto a large sheet of plastic wrap and firmly wrap it around the cone until it is completely covered.

Then, stand the cone on a level surface or serving tray. Use tape on the bottom of the cone for added security.

Repeat this process around the bottom perimeter of the cone, then work your way upward until you have finished adding donut holes to the tree.

To decorate with pomegranate arils, insert a toothpick 3⁄4 of the way into the cone where there is a gap.

Then, gently add the pomegranate seed to the toothpick.

Press pomegranate arils onto toothpicks.

Repeat with 12-15 pomegranate arils around the tree. If you can’t find pomegranate, fresh cranberries would also work.

Separate the rosemary into small sprigs and tuck them into sparse areas around the tree.

Finally, dust the tree with more powdered sugar if needed, and enjoy your beautiful Christmas donut tree!

Storage Tip

Serve right away for best results. Leftover donuts can be removed from the tree and stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
