Sweet and Toasty Air Fryer Candied Pecans in 10 Minutes

Whenever I am at a sporting event, the candied nuts are all I can think about. The smell is so delicious and nothing beats that sweet, crunchy, warm flavor. So why not make air fryer candied pecans at home? I’ll show you how.

Not only can you find these at sporting events, candied nuts are a Walt Disney World favorite. They are just so good!

This is an excellent recipe year-round, but there’s something especially satisfying about candied pecans during the holidays. Serve them next to a tasty ham or with some pumpkin pie cups.

How to Make Air Fryer Candied Pecans

You can pry my air fryer from my cold, dead hands. I love it! This recipe is easy and will have your house smelling amazing.

Step 1: Mix your pecans with maple syrup, egg white, both sugars, and cinnamon. Toss well until all the nuts are coated.

Step 2: Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper and trim off any excess. Add the coated pecans in a single layer and fry for 5 minutes. Stir and fry for another 5 minutes.

Step 3: You can eat them warm if you want but they will be a little sticky. If you have the time, spread the cooked pecans into a single layer on another parchment-lined pan and let cool.

Air-Fryer Candied Pecans

Sweet, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Candied pecans made in the air fryer are the perfect snack.
Prep: 2 minutes
Cook: 10 minutes
Total: 12 minutes
Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions 

  • In a large bowl, toss together pecans, egg white, maple syrup, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Line the basket of your air fryer with a piece of parchment paper, making sure to cut off any corners or edges that stick over the top of the air fryer basket so the edges don't burn.
  • Add the coated pecans to the parchment lined basket, and shake to move them into an even layer.
  • Cook in the air fryer at 340°F for 5 minutes. Remove, give the nuts a good stir, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
  • Line a cutting board with parchment, and pour the nuts onto the parchment paper. Spread them out and allow them to dry for about an hour. Enjoy!
