Baked French Onion Dip
This French onion dip recipe uses fresh onion with a mixture of cheeses and seasonings to create the perfect warm dip.

Ingredients

onion
sliced and sauteed

olive oil

Italian blend cheese
shredded

cup
Gruyere cheese
shredded

Whipped cream cheese

French onion mix
Lipton
French bread
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
Slice onion and sautee in a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil until browned.
In a large mixing bowl, combine whipped cream cheese, onion mix, cooked onion Gruyère cheese & 1/2 cup Italian blend cheese.
Spoon into a cast iron skillet or medium sized baking dish.
Cover with the remaining shredded cheese.
Bake for 12 minutes or until bubbling and cheese has turned golden brown.
Notes
Refrigerate leftover onion dip in a covered, airtight container. Consume within 3-5 days.
