Make this easy snack in minutes with just three ingredients in the shape of an American flag. This American flag snack tray is perfect for kids and adults alike and so fun for a summer party or cookout.

Easy and cute are two of my favorite food groups!

Easy Flag Snack Tray

American Flag Snack Tray Ingredients

For this treat, we are keeping it simple with just three ingredients. You are free to add more variety if you want more choices. It’s up to you.

What to Buy:

  • 1 Pound Strawberries
  • 1 Pint Blueberries
  • 12oz Bag Large Marshmallows

You will also need a rectangular cutting board or tray and a bowl in a square or star shape that will hold about 2 cups of volume.

Create an American Flag with Fruit

To get started, wash and remove the stems from the strawberries and slice in half lengthwise.

Wash and add the blueberries to a small square shaped bowl and place the bowl of blueberries onto the left corner of the cutting board.

Then, using the strawberries & marshmallows, create flag stripes starting with red at the top. Serve and enjoy!

Variations

This easy snack is so easy to customize. Keep it simple or add a variety of additional options.

  • Raspberries
  • Cherries
  • Blackberries
  • Yogurt dipped pretzels
  • Red, white and blue M&Ms

You could also create a savory option by alternating meat and cheese slices with a bowl of blue corn chips in the corner.

Quick and easy and so fun for the 4th of July! This American flag snack tray is made with delicious fruit and marshmallows for the perfect not-too-sweet treat.

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 1 Pound Strawberries
  • 1 Pint Blueberries
  • 12 oz Bag Large Marshmallows

Instructions 

  • Wash, remove the stems & slice the strawberries in half lengthwise.
  • Place the blueberries into a small square shaped bowl.
  • Place the bowl of blueberries onto the left corner of the cutting board.
  • Using the strawberries & marshmallows, create flag stripes starting with red at the top.
