How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats
This no-bake easy recipe is so full of flavor. Let’s make them!
First, use non-stick cooking spray to lightly coat the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter and stir in the salt.
Set aside a cup and a half of the mini marshmallows to mix in later. Then stir in the remaining marshmallows with the butter until melted.
Make sure to stir constantly so it does not burn. Remove the pot from heat as soon the mixture is fully melted.
Add the crispy rice cereal into the pot. Then add the marshmallows you set aside earlier. Then chop one cup of Reese’s peanut butter cup minis in half and add them to the mixture along with a half cup of peanut butter chips and a half cup of semisweet chocolate chips.
Gently stir the mixture until evenly combined.
Spread the mixture into the pan and press it down evenly. Do not pack it in too tight or it will become hard to eat.
Top with the remaining peanut butter chocolate mini cups, peanut butter chips, and semisweet chocolate chips. Gently press into the bars to help them stick.
Allow to cool in the pan on the counter to room temperature before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
