How to Make this Pizza Wonton Recipe

With a few minutes of prep time you can have a quick snack that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Make them all the same or let your family customize their own.

First, preheat oven to 350°F and spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.

Layer two wonton wraps in each of the muffin cups, alternating where the corners end up to form your cups.

Bake the empty cups in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the corners of the wontons begin to turn golden brown.

Remove from oven and set aside for cooling enough to remove from pan.

Carefully transfer the crisp wontons to a baking pan to be filled.

Slice the larger pepperonis in half and mix with pizza sauce in a medium bowl.

Recipe Variations

These two bite pizza cups are the perfect appetizer, snack or meal (if you eat a few). Pizza is one of our favorite foods in my house so this one is a no-brainer!

What I love about these cups is how easy they are to individualize for each person in your family.

Here are a few ideas to try:

  • Use ground sausage or ground beef along with or instead of the pepperoni
  • Make using mini turkey pepperoni to save a few calories
  • Top mini pizzas with Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese
  • Spice it up with red pepper flakes
  • Make a version with ham and pineapple
  • Try making puff pastry cups instead of using wontons.
  • Use diced onions and mushrooms for veggie pizza cups
  • Fill with buffalo chicken and ranch dressing before topping with cheese

Storage tips

These pizza cups are best eaten fresh, but feel free to refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container and enjoy for 2-3 days.

For best results and crispness, reheat in the oven or an air fryer just until heated through.
