I love all things cookies and cream from the traditional Oreo cookie to ice cream and everything in between. This easy Oreo cheesecake dip is the perfect recipe to serve with your favorite dippers at a party, tailgate, or holiday meal.

Using a sweetened cream cheese mixture and chocolate sandwich cookies, this dip comes together in about an hour for a delicious dip to serve whenever the mood strikes.

To make this easy Oreo fluff, you will need the following simple ingredients:

  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies, plus more for topping

How to Make it

This easy Oreo dip recipe is the perfect combination of sweet and a little tangy. And it’s such a nice break from savory dips! And you know I love my savory dips.

To get started, add the heavy cream to a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form, around five minutes. Then set it aside.

Beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

Fold in the crushed Oreos with a large spoon or rubber spatula.

Finally, add the whipped cream and stir slowly to combine.

Add whipped cream to dip and chill

Cover the bowl and chill for at least one hour before serving.

Transfer to serving dish and garnish with cookie crumbs if desired. Enjoy!

Tips and Tricks

When not eating this delicious dessert, cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to an an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.     I brought this fantastic dip to my nephew’s birthday celebration last week. He is 40 with a wife and three small kiddos. Everyone at the party loved this Oreo Cheesecake Dip!!! I do believe that it was a toss up whether the party goers were choosing birthday cake or the Oreo Cheesecake Dip!! It was a HIT!!!
