If you’re looking for an alternative to Easter baskets this year, we are loving the board trend! Why not make an Easter candy charcuterie board?

Yes we know the word charcuterie is actually referring to cold meats, but we’re talking about the Easter bunny here so I’m not splitting….hares.

What to Put on an Easter Candy Charcuterie Board

The best part of this fun snack is how customizable it is based on the treats your family enjoys.

I love mixing in classic sweets like macarons and sugar wafers along with seasonal candy. You could even make some Easter mini bundt cakes to arrange on the table.

Candy Board Supplies

To create your board, choose a board or serving dishes for the charcuterie board.

Place loose ingredients (small candies, loose candies, etc.) into bowls or individual dishes and place those bowls on the board first.

Then, fill in with the larger items and create sections for each one.

Arrange similar treats in opposing corners and move things around until they look right.

Leave some candies wrapped if they are particularly colorful.

With every few items you add, take a step back to check for balance. There is no such thing as perfect!

Have fun with it. When you are done, add assorted tongs or Easter decorations and enjoy!

My kids love a snack day!

Whenever I do a board like this, whether it’s a traditional charcuterie board or something different, we all seem to be in such good moods.

I mean who doesn’t love an all-day buffet?
