Some days are stinkier than others. As a mom and the only female in a house full of males (including the cats!) I’m not afraid to shout my love of flushable wipes from the rooftops. See why they are great for so much more than the bathroom.

Summer in North Carolina brings words to mind like hot, sticky, sweaty, and humid. Imagine my surprise when after moving from Clearwater, FL to Raleigh, NC I found out that summer is just as hot and miserable here. There are days when it’s impossible to really feel clean, no matter what I do.

For my family, summer also means sports. Oscar is smack dab in the middle of baseball season and both boys will join the swim team later this month. And while they are playing and swimming, I will be right there cheering them on and sweating buckets the whole time. We love to enjoy summer and it’s worth the sweat, but I don’t mind a little help when I can get it.

Thank goodness for Cottonelle® FreshCare Flushable Wipes. Around here, we call them booty wipes but they can be used for so much more! I’m sharing a few of my favorite ideas and I’d love to hear yours too.

Flushable Wipes are a Mom’s Best Friend

I’d wager that most moms continue to use some form of wipes long after the babies are out of diapers and for good reason. Honestly, I wish I had discovered the magic of wipes long before I had kids but now that I do, there’s no turning back. Switching to a flushable option was a no-brainer.

Cottonelle® FreshCare Flushable Wipes start to break down right away after flushing, and I’m told they break down even 6X’s faster than Dude Wipes. And you don’t have to be tied to the city sewer because they are sewer-safe & septic-safe.

This is awesome for those of us living in 50-year-old houses. Yes really, these wipes are 100% flushable & the No. 1 Flushable Wipe Brand among national flushable wipe brands. Our pipes thank you.

As a mom, potty-training was so much easier to teach because the flushable wipes really get the job done and can be followed up with Cottonelle® Ultra ComfortCare® Toilet Paper to stay dry.

I should also mention that this tp is three times Stronger and three times thicker versus the leading national bath tissue value brand. So if you teach your kids to count squares (I can’t be the only one) this means less counting and hopefully fewer toilet clogs as they learn. Also, 12 Mega Rolls = 48 single rolls, which in toilet paper math means less space is taken up in my closet.

Potty-training is a dirty job, but when you’re raising two boys (or girls), pretty much nothing is off limits. We all have to do it.

The folks at Cottonelle believe that wet + dry = superior clean and never have I believed that more than after becoming a mom.

The Many Uses for Flushable Wipes

Beyond the booty, there are so many ways to use wipes and I want to share a few of my favorites. For one, since our wipes live right on the back of the toilet, it’s super easy to grab one for a quick seat or sink wipe down.

And what mom hasn’t been assaulted by the smell of after-school feet in the carpool line? Keep a pack in your car and thank me later.

Like I mentioned above, we are in our sports season so having wipes on hand is great for long days in the sun. Use them in the bathroom or for a quick refresher or if you need to go straight from a game to a birthday party. Pro-tip: they’re great on armpits too. Just sayin.

Have indoor/outdoor pets? Keep wipes by the front door during the rainy season to clean muddy paws. Or if you’re doing crafts with the kiddos, they work great on sticky slime hands or spot-cleaning paint drips.

Basically, keep them everywhere because you WILL use them.

Shop Cottonelle with Walmart Online Grocery

Want to know one of mom’s other best friends? Online shopping.

Sometimes I want to break out in song with my best “look around, look around, how lucky we are to be alive right now” singing voice because gone are the days when we have to enter a grocery store with our children in tow.

Have you ever used Walmart Online Grocery? Prepare for your game to be forever changed.

It’s pretty simple really. You sit in your home and do all of your typical grocery shopping, including non-food items at Walmart and pay online. Then, usually within just a couple hours, your app will let you know that your order is ready and that’s when you grab the kiddos and head out.

But wait! There’s more! Not only are your groceries shopped for you, Walmart will bring them out and load. them. into. your. vehicle. When you arrive, the app will prompt you to input your parking space number and they come right out. My kids never even had to unbuckle.

Yes and amen!

I am sold on this service. It’s hard to beat Walmart prices on just about everything but especially when it comes to the basics like Cottonelle. The fact that they load them into my van means I can get whatever I need without having to worry about carrying it all and keeping my two kiddos alive at the same time. It’s the little things really.

I work from home with kids and with them home for summer vacation already, I need all the help I can get. I’m glad that brands like Cottonelle and Walmart get me and what really makes a mom’s life a little easier. Check the Walmart website to see if this service is available in your area.

Every little bit helps!

I love that I’m not the only one who uses these for ALL the things.

And I adore the “beyond the booty” tagline. Because. Well, it’s true, and it’s perfect!
