Sheet pan dinners are a mom’s best friend because they are such a quick and easy way to enjoy a home-cooked meal in around 30 minutes.

We love kielbasa and we use it a few times a month whether it’s this meal or when I serve it with cabbage.

Sheet pan dinners are so versatile and you can really use just about any meat and veggie combination. It’s fun to get creative!

I also learned years ago that my kids actually enjoy roasted veggies, so anytime I can get them to eat more, it’s a win.

For this meal, it’s pretty simple. Like I said, use whatever veggies you like! I recommend using a large cooking sheet and y’all, I don’t know why it took me so long to buy one but it is seriously such an upgrade!

I never reach for my standard cookie sheets anymore. Level up!

Sheet Pan Dinner Cooking Tips

I love cooking in the oven. Sheet pan dinners, Feta pasta with red peppers, Mexican pie casserole; it’s all good! The less pans and prep the better.

While your oven preheats, rinse vegetables well and slice or chop into bite-sized pieces.

For broccoli, I tend to cut the stems off but that’s a personal preference.

Toss the chopped veggies with your seasonings and olive oil and add to the pan.

I prefer keeping the vegetables separate for cooking and mix it all together at the end.

Because kielbasa is already cooked, I always bake my veggies for about 20 minutes before adding the meat. That way it doesn’t over cook but still gets a nice crispy edge.

Turn broccoli and potatoes and add the sliced kielbasa (we buy either turkey or all beef smoked sausage).

Then pop the pan back in the oven to finish.

Start to finish, this budget-friendly meal takes right around 30 minutes. You can’t beat that!
