Using an air fryer to cook meat has been a game-changer for me. We love these crispy chicken thighs and regularly make Mongolian beef.

Why I Love This Recipe

  • Using an air fryer makes dinner easy yet still delivers on flavor.
  • The marinade is pantry-friendly and packs a punch with garlic, mustard, and a hint of honey.
  • Quick enough for a weeknight, but tasty enough for guests.

How to Make Pork Chops in an Air Fryer

We love an easy meal that packs tons of flavor. Make a salad or other side dishes while the pork chops are sizzling.

Four pieces of marinated meat are sealed in a clear zip-top plastic bag on a white surface.

Step 1: Marinate the Pork Chops
Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a small bowl or zip-top bag. Add pork chops and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (2–4 hours is even better).

Two cooked hamburger patties sit inside the basket of an air fryer on a light-colored surface.

Step 2: Preheat the Air Fryer and Cook
Set your air fryer to 375°F and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes while you prep the chops. Remove chops from the bag and let the excess marinade drip off. Place pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Step 3: Rest

Remove the chops from the air fryer and let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing.

Sliced, cooked pork loin seasoned with spices is arranged on a plate next to a mixed green salad.

Step 4: Slice and Serve
Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Recipe Tips

  • Don’t skip the marinating time. Even just 30 minutes makes a difference, but longer is better.
  • If your air fryer runs hot, check doneness early to avoid overcooking.
  • Want a little heat? Add a pinch of cayenne to the marinade.
