Ranch – The ranch dressing is what helps tame down the spice on this tater tot casserole.

Cream Cheese – Make sure to use a whipped cream cheese or softened cream cheese for the best results.

Garlic – The garlic adds quick a bit of flavor to the dish.

Pepper Jack Cheese – Use pepper jack cheese adds even more kick of spice. If you can’t take the heat reach for a sharp cheddar cheese.

Freezing – You can also freeze this casserole. Freeze this casserole for 4-5 months in the freezer. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge overnight or cover with foil and heat in a baking dish in the oven. Once it is warmed, remove the foil and finish cooking until the tots are crispy again.

Can I use a homemade sauce instead of store bought?

Go right ahead and make your homemade hot sauce with a little spice or a lot. You can control the heat favorite that you will mix up with the buffalo chicken totchos dish.

Yes, you can cook up a pound of beef and use instead of pulled chicken or shredded chicken. It will change up the flavor a bit but will still taste great.
